Machine Operator

Permanent opportunity for an experienced Machine Operator with a leading manufacturer in Columbus!

The Machine Operator will perform set-up and operation of Coiler machines to include reading blueprints, using measuring equipment (micrometer, caliper, etc.), perform tooling change-overs, use hand tools, make trial runs and adjust operations, and other operation duties as assigned. 

If you have Coiler experience, we need to talk today! If you have other machine operation and set-up experience, the company will train you on the Coiler!

Pay rate will begin at $28/hr. This is a 2nd shift position training from 2:30pm-11:00p Mon-Fri for approximately 6 months and then you would have the opportunity to mover to 1st shift if available.

To be successful, the Machine Operator will have:
-3+ yrs experience in Coiler Operation or similar Machine Operation/set-up
-Experience with metal working, particularly Titanium is preferred
-Experience using hand tools and measuring tools
-Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. 
-Ability to read and interpret blueprints and other parts specifications
-Basic Math ability
